Using carefully selected solid wood and local woodworking expertise, the desk is crafted not simply to hold an HHKB, but as furniture designed for long hours of typing.

The desk has also been carefully designed to integrate seamlessly with Matsuba Factory's dedicated HHKB palm rest for a unified typing experience.
Designed to Complement HHKB Accessories
The desk is designed to integrate seamlessly with Matsuba Factory's HHKB accessories, including the dedicated palm rest, keyboard roof, and Ebony Series.
Together, they create a cohesive and visually unified typing environment centered around HHKB.
Storage Designed for an Organized Workspace
The drawer can store up to two HHKB keyboards fitted with Keyboard Roofs.
When not in use, your keyboards remain neatly stored while staying instantly accessible whenever needed.

A cable pocket at the rear of the desk keeps power cords, USB cables, and other wiring neatly organized.

Desktop-Only Configuration for Sit-Stand Frames
A desktop-only configuration without the wooden legs is also available.
Options such as cable pockets and drawers can be selected just as with the standard model.
This allows you to combine a solid wood desktop with your own sit-stand frame for both seated and standing work.
As installation methods, dimensions, and load capacities vary by manufacturer, please confirm that your chosen frame is compatible with your desired configuration, including any options.

Designed for Easy Delivery and Assembly
The desk is designed to simplify both delivery and assembly.
Key components, including the cable management system and drawers, are pre-assembled at the factory. Customers only need to assemble the wooden legs and attach them to the desktop.
This approach makes transportation easier while ensuring that precision-assembled components are delivered with factory-built quality intact.

From HHKB Accessories to Furniture
Drawing on the precision woodworking techniques developed through pattern making, Matsuba Factory has created wooden products for digital workspaces, including dedicated HHKB palm rests, keyboard roofs, and Ebony accessories.
Through years of designing accessories for HHKB users, a new idea naturally emerged:
"What if we created a desk worthy of HHKB?"
To bring that vision to life, Matsuba Factory collaborated with HEREDIA KOMIYAMA, responsible for the product design, and skilled furniture makers from Fuchu, Hiroshima—one of Japan's leading furniture-producing regions. By bringing together each partner's expertise, we created a desk that combines functionality tailored for HHKB users with the quality and craftsmanship of fine furniture.
